Joshua Barrett is an author, speaker, and coach who draws from his personal experience overcoming childhood trauma and addiction to inspire and assist those who are struggling. He resides with his wife in Noblesville, Indiana, where he serves as the Director of Youth Ministry at a local church. He is also the father of two college students in Indiana and serves as a chaplain for several local psychiatric hospitals, rehabs, and detox centers.
Joshua has built a coaching business that focuses on talk therapy and mindfulness, offering a unique “nature therapy” approach that takes clients out of the office and into nature. This method has helped individuals from all walks of life overcome anxiety and achieve their goals. In 2020, Joshua began sharing his message in local churches, non-profits, and organizations. By 2023, he had refined his teachings to address not only complex trauma but also everyday anxieties, offering methods to help people overcome fear and thrive in the life they create.
